Narwal is younger than Roborock, Ecovacs, or iRobot, and it carved out attention by focusing hard on two things: getting a mop genuinely close to baseboards and furniture legs, using tri-laser arrays and specially shaped mop heads, and, in its Freo Z line, running dual RGB cameras through two dedicated AI chips to recognize specific objects rather than just detecting that something is in the way.
