Shark

Shark's advantage over its mostly China-based competitors is brand recognition in physical retail, it sits on shelves at Target and Best Buy next to its popular upright and cordless stick vacuums, and it has carried that reputation for pet-hair pickup directly into its robot lineup. The current four-tier structure is fairly easy to follow once you know it: AI Ultra covers vacuum-only LiDAR models, Matrix Plus adds mopping, Stratos sits above that with fuller mop automation, and PowerDetect tops the range with the most advanced dirt-sensing hardware.

Shark also reuses some model names, PowerDetect and Stratos both exist as stick and upright vacuums too, so it's worth double-checking that a specific listing is the robot version before buying. Overall, it's a solid pick for a pet-heavy household that wants an established, retail-available brand rather than an online-only import.
