Dreame X40 Ultra

The X40 Ultra has held up well since launch, and self-emptying convenience is a big reason why: the base handles dust emptying, mop washing at 158°F, hot-air drying, and water refills automatically, so it's genuinely rare to need to touch the robot between deep cleans. The mop itself is removable and lifts clear of carpet, useful for anyone who mops daily but doesn't want a wet pad anywhere near a rug.

An extendable side brush reaches along baseboards and into corners a fixed brush leaves behind, and AI-based obstacle avoidance handles typical household clutter without much babysitting. Suction at 12,000Pa is strong enough for embedded carpet dirt and pet hair alike. It's aimed at a household that wants a proven, thoroughly self-cleaning robot without chasing Dreame's newest arm-equipped models, which cost considerably more for features many homes won't use.
