What Haier Is

Haier is a major appliance group whose Indian arm, Haier Appliances India, sells a small robot vacuum range alongside its refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, televisions and kitchen appliances. The Haier India launch release calls the company "the No. 1 global major appliances brand for 16 consecutive years", and the group's own boilerplate on the same page says it holds the top position in Euromonitor's Global Major Appliances Brand ranking for that period. According to that release, Haier India was established in 2003, is a subsidiary of Haier Singapore Investment Holding Pte. Ltd., and is headquartered in Greater Noida, with manufacturing facilities in Pune and Greater Noida. The Haier Group itself was founded in 1984, the release says, and it lists Casarte, GE Appliances, Fisher & Paykel, AQUA and Candy among its brands.

For robot vacuums, this listing points at the Haier India online store, where the range sits in its own Robot Vacuum Cleaners section. The release says the CIVIC X11 series is "proudly designed and manufactured" at Haier's facility in Greater Noida, under the company's "Made in India, Made for India" philosophy.

The Range

The Haier India store lists three robots, and the steps between them are easy to follow.

The CIVIC X11 is the entry point. It sweeps and mops in one pass, which the launch release calls a "2-in-1 Sweep and Mop function". It uses laser navigation, 5000Pa suction and a 2600mAh battery, and it stores up to five maps, so a house over two or more floors can keep a separate layout for each. The store listed it at ₹16,999.00 with a one-year warranty.

The CIVIC X11 Pro is the same robot with an auto-empty station. The release describes it as a "3-in-1 Sweep, Mop, and Automatic Dust Collection system", and explains that the station lets the robot "automatically empty its contents into a larger dust box". That is the step worth paying for if you do not want to open a dustbin after every run. The store listed it at ₹29,499.00, again with a one-year warranty. Its store title reads "Auto -Empty Robotic Vacuum Cleaner with Advanced Laser Navigation, 5000 PA Strong Suction and Mopping, Multi Floor Maps".

The CIVIC AI MAXX is the top of the range. The store describes it as a smart robot vacuum "with the latest LDS Navigation technology/ Auto MOP Cleaning/Auto Dustbin/8000 Pa Suction/5200 mAh Battery". So the flagship adds higher suction, a larger battery and a station that cleans the mop as well as emptying the bin. It was listed at ₹59,999.00 with a one-year standard warranty.

Prices in the launch release differ from the store. The release, dated July 2025, put the CIVIC X11 at INR 29,999 and the CIVIC X11 Pro at INR 59,999; the store later showed the lower figures above, plus instant cashback offers and no-cost EMI plans of six, nine or twelve months depending on the model. Store prices move, so check the current figure before buying.

There is also an older model on Haier India's main site, the TH27U1. Its product page marks it "Not available on the market", so it is history rather than a buying option, but it shows where the brand started: a gyroscope-navigated robot with 2200 PA suction, a 600ml dustbin, a 350ml water tank and a 2600mAh battery. Moving from gyroscope navigation to laser mapping is the main change between that machine and the current CIVIC line.

What the Site Shows About the CIVIC Series

The launch release is the most detailed source for the X11 pair. Both models share the same core:

  • Navigation. A laser navigation system that the release says ensures "precise and efficient cleaning", with intelligent obstacle detection plus anti-fall, anti-collision and anti-entanglement features.
  • Suction. 5000Pa, which the release says handles "rustic floors, hardwood, tiles, marble, carpets, and linoleum".
  • Thresholds. 20mm gradeability, meaning the robot climbs door sills and floor transitions up to 20mm high.
  • Tanks. A 250ml dustbin and a 300ml water tank.
  • Noise. DC brushless motors kept to "less than 65db", according to the release.
  • Modes. Three cleaning modes, Manual, Edge and Spot.
  • Maps. Five-map memory for multiple floors or areas.

The app is the HaiSmart app, which the release says handles intelligent mapping and restricted area settings. Voice control runs through Google, and the release adds that the robots can be controlled "through any Google or Android TV using the HaiSmart App". The store titles also name Alexa and TV control alongside the app. For a household that already owns a Haier television or other connected Haier appliances, that ties the robot into the same ecosystem.

The release says the series is "designed specifically for the dynamic lifestyles of Indian consumers, from pet owners to working professionals and senior citizens". That is a fair summary of the pitch: set-and-forget cleaning for busy homes, with the Pro and AI MAXX removing more of the manual work.

Where to Buy and Support

Haier says both X11 models are available at leading electronics retailers, on Haier's official online store and on Flipkart. The official store, run for Haier India, lists sales enquiry lines, an order enquiry line and the e-mail address in.eshop@haierindia.com, with working hours of 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and closure on Sundays and public holidays. After-sales service runs through toll-free numbers 1800-419-9999 and 1800-102-9999 and customercare@haierindia.com. Haier India's main site offers product registration, service appointments with what it calls "door-to-door service", troubleshooting guides, manual downloads and a warranty declaration page.

The release describes the X11 series warranty as "12 months comprehensive warranty, subject to terms and conditions", and the store tiles repeat a one-year warranty for all three robots.

A Note on Europe

Haier also sells robot vacuums in Europe through Haier Europe, and the Spanish store's footer names Candy Hoover Group Srl in Brugherio, Italy, as the company behind it. The Spanish robot vacuum page says every Haier robot vacuum and mop there combines LDS navigation with an AI camera, adjusts suction automatically when it detects dirt, and docks into a station that recharges, washes and dries the mop and empties the dust. The European robots use a different app, HG Robots, for custom maps, cleaning schedules and no-go zones. The Spanish collection page showed no products matching its filters, so the Indian range is the one you can actually buy from this listing.

Honest Downsides

The CIVIC X11 and X11 Pro share their spec sheet, so the only thing the Pro buys is the auto-empty station. That is clear and useful, but it also means the Pro's 250ml onboard bin and 300ml tank are the same as the base model's. The store and release do not publish separate runtime figures for the X11 pair, only the 2600mAh battery, and the AI MAXX is described only by its store title: 8000 Pa, 5200 mAh, auto mop cleaning and auto dustbin. Replacement brushes, filters and mop pads are not listed in the robot section of the store.

The warranty on every current model is one year, with no longer cover offered on the store tiles.

Who It Suits

Haier makes most sense for buyers in India who want a robot from a large appliance brand with a national service network and toll-free support, rather than an import. The CIVIC X11 suits a small or mid-sized flat with hard floors, where laser mapping and 5000Pa suction are plenty and emptying a 250ml bin by hand is not a chore. Pet owners and anyone with a larger home should look at the X11 Pro, because the auto-empty station is what makes daily runs practical when hair builds up. The CIVIC AI MAXX is for buyers who want the most hands-off setup Haier India sells, with mop cleaning at the station and more suction. Households with Google or Android TVs and other Haier connected appliances get the most from the HaiSmart app. Buyers outside India will find the European Haier robots run on a different platform and app.
