Pyle USA is an electronics company that describes itself as selling "Audio, Lifestyle Products & Home Electronics Since 1960", and its robot vacuums are a small corner of a very large catalog. The same store sells car audio, PA systems, musical instruments, surveillance cameras, portable washers and massagers, and the homepage presents a family of brands "built over the past half century": Pyle USA, SereneLife, NutriChef, Hurtle and Squatz. The robots themselves carry the Pure Clean name. Pyle runs two sites, pyleusa.com as its current store and pyleaudio.com as a product catalog, and both show Pure Clean machines. What the brand is known for here is low price and simple machines: slim, remote-controlled robots that sweep, vacuum and in some versions mop, sold with a registered warranty and free US shipping.

The Pure Clean range

Pyle does not sell a ladder of robot vacuums. Its two robot product pages show two quite different takes on a budget robot.

Pure Clean Smart Robot Vacuum (PUCRC96B). This is the robot on the pyleusa.com store. It is the simpler machine on paper, but it comes with more in the box. Pyle lists a "Mopping Attachment" as standard, alongside the charging station, a remote control, two detachable sweep brushes and a power adapter. The page describes it as a robot that "Dusts Sweeps Mops & Vacuums" and adds "Take Control: Use the Wireless Remote & Steer the Vacuum", so you can drive it by hand to a mess as well as let it run. Cleaning modes are Auto, Spiral Edge and Zig-Zag. Pyle says it works on hardwood, linoleum, tile, stone and short or hard carpet, has anti-fall stair sensors and a protective bumper, and uses obstacle detection to clean around household objects.

The technical specs are detailed. The dust bin holds 0.3L. The battery is Lithium-ion 14.8V 1500mAh, with an average charge time of 4 hours and a vacuum run time of up to 90 minutes. The two debris sweepers are 3.15'' in diameter, and the robot measures 11.81'' x 11.81'' x 3.15'', which is what lets Pyle promise a "Low-Profile Design Slides Underneath Furniture". The remote runs on two AAA batteries. On the day the store page was read it showed a regular price of $207.99 and a sale price of $145.59, a saving of $62.40 that Pyle labels 30%, and the robot was marked sold out.

Pure Clean PUCRC850. The pyleaudio.com catalog lists a second model, the PUCRC850, under the heading "Smart Vacuum Cleaner - Automatic Robot Cleaning Vacuum with App Download and Remote Control". This is the connected one. It adds app control through the 'WeBack' Mobile App, which offers a selection of cleaning modes, a cleaning schedule timer and a view of battery level and cleaning status. Pairing is by QR code, and the app is free for iOS and Android. It also has a remote.

The PUCRC850's published specs are a Suction Power of 1600pa, a Dust Bin Capacity of 600 mL and a Cleaning Area Coverage of "Up to 120-180 Sq. Meters". It uses "Gyroscope Technology to Optimize Cleaning Routes", with preset Zigzag, Spot and Edge modes, anti-fall and anti-collision sensors, dual spinning side brushes and the same slim, under-furniture housing. It works on hardwood, tile, marble and hard carpet. The catalog lists an MSRP of $404.99.

Mopping on the PUCRC850 is an add-on rather than standard. Pyle offers the "Nature Flow Water Tank Mopping Kit 180ml", Pure Clean model PRTPUCRC8505, sold separately. The box holds the robot, charging dock base, digital remote control, removable dust bin, four sweep brushes, two air filters and a magnetic strip.

So the choice is simple. The PUCRC96B is the remote-driven robot with a mop plate in the box and a long published runtime. The PUCRC850 is the app robot with a stated suction figure, a larger bin and a proper water tank, sold as an extra.

Filters, parts and manuals

This is where Pyle is more useful than its price suggests. The PUCRC96B has an "Integrated Reusable HEPA Filter & Washable Primary Filter", and Pyle's own answers on the product page give part numbers for consumables: PRTPUCRC9510 for the HEPA filter, which it links as a product on pyleusa.com, and PRTPUCRC9520 for the replacement battery, which it said was out of stock at the time. Manuals for both robots are downloadable from the product pages, and when an owner asked how to fit the mop plate, Pyle pointed to page 15 of the PUCRC96B manual.

The product pages also carry a public questions and answers section where Pyle staff reply. Support runs through an email contact form, with a reply promised within 12 to 24 hours, and a support hotline on weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm EST. The homepage adds live chat and orders by phone.

Warranty, returns and payment

Pyle states its warranty in two ways, and the difference matters. The pyleusa.com store promises a "3-Year Warranty" on every order, and the fine print explains it: a "3-year extended warranty, applies only when the product is registered within 30 days of purchase" and it "excludes specific product types". The homepage FAQ repeats that registered products are covered under the 3-year warranty. The pyleaudio.com catalog page for the PUCRC850 lists a warranty of 1 Year. Registering promptly is the thing to do.

The store also promises 30-Day Returns and free shipping anywhere in the USA, and accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Shop Pay and Affirm for monthly payments.

Limits of the range

The PUCRC850 page has a "Noise Level" row with no value, and neither robot page names a navigation system beyond gyroscope routing on the PUCRC850 and "Cleaning Path Navigation" on the PUCRC96B. Neither robot page offers mapping, room selection or a self-emptying dock. That is the trade for the price, and it is stated plainly rather than hidden.

The store is also clearly US-first. Free shipping is limited to the USA, the hotline runs on Eastern time, and the store prices are in dollars.

Who it suits

A Pure Clean robot suits a US buyer who wants a cheap, slim machine to keep hard floors and low-pile rugs tidy under beds and sofas, and who does not need maps or a dock that empties itself. The PUCRC96B, with its mop plate included, runtime of up to 90 minutes and hand steering from the remote, suits a small flat or a single floor where you want to send the robot to a spill as well as run it on a pattern. The PUCRC850 suits someone who wants to schedule cleaning from a phone and is happy to add the water tank kit later.

It suits buyers less well if they have deep carpet, want room-by-room control, or live outside the US. For those readers Pyle's own pages show that the range is built for simplicity, not for navigation features.
