TESLA Electronics is a home electronics brand that its own e-shop describes as "TESLA - česká značka" (TESLA, a Czech brand). Its catalog runs from air fryers, electric cookers and coffee makers to smart cameras, baby monitors, soundbars and satellite receivers, and its robot vacuums sit under Home and cleaning with the RoboStar name. The English catalog splits robots into two groups, robot vacuum cleaners "With laser navigation" and "Robotic window cleaners", and every RoboStar floor robot on it uses laser navigation. TESLA sells directly through Czech and Slovak e-shops and publishes catalogs in Polish, German and English, so the brand's home market is clear. What stands out is how much robot the RoboStar cards promise, laser navigation on every floor model, backed by a local service promise.
The RoboStar floor robots
The English catalog lists three laser-guided robots, and the steps between them are about the dock.
TESLA RoboStar iQ660. The entry model, a "Laser-Guided Robotic Vacuum Cleaner" that is "2-in-1: vacuums and mops at the same time". TESLA gives it a "powerful digital motor with 13,000 Pa suction" and "360° intelligent laser navigation with memory", so it maps the home and keeps that map between runs. Its card names no self-emptying station.
TESLA RoboStar iQ660 Plus. The same 13,000 Pa motor and laser navigation, but with a dock that does more. TESLA describes it as "3-in-1: vacuums, mops with water, and sucks up debris into the multifunctional docking station". The step from iQ660 to iQ660 Plus is the self-emptying station.
TESLA RoboStar iQ900 Ultra. The flagship, billed as a "4-in-1 Laser-Guided Robotic Vacuum Cleaner". TESLA's summary reads "3-in-1: vacuums, cleans floors with rotating mops, and sucks up debris into the docking station", with an "automatic cleaning and charging dock", a "powerful 10,000 Pa digital motor" and an "innovative extendable rotating mop arm". The extendable mop arm is what sets it apart from the iQ660 pair, and the catalog shows it in more than one variant. Note that TESLA quotes a lower suction figure for the iQ900 Ultra than for the iQ660 pair, so the flagship buys the mopping system and the dock rather than more suction.
All three carry the same line: each "speaks English with a English-language app".
The RoboStar window robots
TESLA also sells two window-cleaning robots under the RoboStar name. The RoboStar W800 WiFi has "Four nozzles with an ultrasonic water atomization system", smart navigation for automatic window cleaning, and an Android and iOS app in English, and TESLA sums it up as "fast, safe, and effective window cleaning". The RoboStar W400 Pro uses "Two rotating mops for effective dirt removal" and two ultrasonic atomizing nozzles. The e-shop runs a feature article on the W400 Pro, "Konec dřiny s okny" (an end to the drudgery of windows), which makes the pitch plainly: no ladder, no bucket, no rubbing glass with a cloth.
Alongside the robots, the e-shop sells the TESLA GlideStar GQ500, an electric rotary mop with "dva rotační mopy pro efektivní vytírání" (two rotating mops for effective mopping), a large water tank with controlled spraying and a battery that lasts "až 30 minut" (up to 30 minutes). It is a hand-held companion to the robots.
Consumables and older models
TESLA sells its own robot accessories in a dedicated category, "Příslušenství pro robotické vysavače" (accessories for robot vacuums). These cover an earlier range, the TESLA Smart Robot Vacuum AI100, AI200 and AI300. The AI100 Cleaning Kit bundles a HEPA filter, two side brushes and two mop cloths for 249 Kč, and the e-shop lists it with a 2-year warranty ("Záruční doba 2 roky"). A pack of five dust bags for the TESLA Smart Robot Vacuum Laser AI300 was listed at 299 Kč, or 239 Kč with the seasonal PS20 discount code. There is also an AI200 Cleaning Kit. For owners of those older robots, the takeaway is that TESLA still stocks the parts that wear out.
The e-shop also runs a buyer's guide, "Jak vybrat robotický vysavač?" (how to choose a robot vacuum), in its robot section.
Warranty, service and delivery
TESLA's e-shop is specific about after-sales care. Its standard voluntary warranty is 24 months, and on selected products it extends that to a total of 3 years, over and above the buyer's statutory rights. Under "TESLA Premium Servis", TESLA says that if a problem does occur it will collect the goods at its own cost, fix them and return them, and it offers post-warranty service on its products. Orders are dispatched as fast as possible, ideally the same day, and shipping is free once an order passes 1500 Kč. Larger baskets earn a gift with the order, and during the autumn sale the code PS20 took 20% off selected items, including robot accessories. The e-shop also notes that reviews posted before 6.1.2023 are unverified, a small but honest disclosure.
The TESLA Smart ecosystem
TESLA's other connected products run through the TESLA Smart app: its Wi-Fi cameras offer two-way communication and remote control in TESLA Smart, its radar presence sensor drives automations there, and its smart cooker comes with the app "v češtině" (in Czech). The same catalog sells the robots beside those smart devices, which suits a household that wants its cameras, sensors and kitchen appliances from one brand.
Who it suits
A RoboStar robot suits a buyer in the Czech Republic or Slovakia who wants laser mapping and a mopping robot from a local brand that collects and repairs faulty goods at its own cost. The iQ660 suits a flat where emptying the bin by hand is no burden and strong suction on paper matters. The iQ660 Plus suits the same home with a self-emptying dock. The iQ900 Ultra suits owners of mostly hard floors who want rotating mops, the extendable mop arm and a dock that both cleans and charges.
It suits buyers less well outside the markets TESLA's Czech and Slovak e-shops serve, since the Premium Servis pickup is described there, and anyone who wants runtime and bin figures before buying, since the English catalog cards list suction and navigation but not battery or tank sizes.
