What Roborock is

Roborock is a Chinese robot vacuum maker founded in July 2014 by Richard Chang, according to the milestones on its Malaysian about page. Its first product, launched in 2016 with Xiaomi, was sold as the Mi Home Robotic Vacuum Cleaner; its second product, the Roborock S5, followed in 2017, and the company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market in February 2020. The about page says Roborock operates from offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Roborock's own newsroom describes it as headquartered in Beijing, serving "more than 170 countries and regions" and "more than 22 million households". A March 2026 release says that according to the IDC Worldwide Quarterly Smart Vacuum Robotics Tracker, Roborock was the No. 1 smart cleaning robot brand in 2025, with 5.8m shipments and a 17.7% market share, and the No. 1 robot vacuum brand since the second half of 2023. The brand is known above all for its docks and its mopping systems, and it now also sells wet dry vacuums, stick vacuums, robotic lawn mowers, a pool cleaner and washer-dryers.

How the docks developed

The milestones on the about page show where Roborock's dock reputation comes from. It began its overseas expansion in 2018. The S7, launched in January 2021, is described there as the first robot vacuum to combine ultrasonic mopping with intelligent mop lifting, and the Auto-Empty Dock that followed in July 2021 let owners empty the robot "once every eight weeks". In January 2022 the S7 MaxV Ultra brought a multipurpose dock that empties, washes and refills itself, and the same year Roborock launched its first wet dry vacuum, the Dyad. Today's Qrevo and Saros docks build on that line.

The range

Roborock sells its robots in three main families. The Q series is the entry point, the Qrevo series is the middle, and the Saros series is the flagship.

The brand credits the Q series with PreciSense LiDAR navigation. In India, where roborockindia.com is the authorized distributor, the Q7 Pro Max with 13000pa suction and anti-tangle brushes was ₹44,990.00 (regular ₹59,990.00), and the Q7 Pro Max Plus added auto dust disposal for ₹54,990.00. The Singapore store describes the Q7 TF+ as "Best for daily family cleaning", with 13,000 Pa, a dual anti-tangle system and three levels of water flow.

The Qrevo series adds a multifunctional dock that washes the mops. The Qrevo S Pro, which Roborock Singapore calls its "Best entry model for automated robot vacuum", pairs 18,500 Pa suction with 75°C mop washing and dual liftable spinning mops. The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro raises suction to 25000pa in a 7.98 cm body, with a retractable LiDAR, 60°C hot water mopping, a dock that washes mops with water up to 100°C, and an AdaptiLift chassis that crosses double-layer thresholds up to 4cm. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow swaps spinning pads for a roller mop and lists 20000pa.

The Saros series is where Roborock puts its newest ideas. The Saros 10 carries ReactiveAI 3.0 obstacle avoidance, a VibraRise 4.0 mopping system and a 6400mAh battery; the Malaysian store listed it at RM 3,999.00 against RM 6,299.00. The Saros 10R uses the StarSight Autonomous System. The Saros 20 lists a 36,000 Pa HyperForce digital motor, StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 with 3D ToF sensing, and an AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 that climbs double-layer thresholds up to 8.8 cm and carpets up to 3 cm. Its RockDock washes mops with 100°C hot water, cleans itself and dries the dust bag. In India the Saros 20 was ₹189,990.00 against ₹249,990.00. The Saros Z70 adds an OmniGrip foldable five-axis mechanical arm, which the newsroom says can recognize, move and store small objects.

So the steps buy dock automation first and mobility second. The Q series vacuums and mops with LiDAR and can add an auto-empty dock, the Qrevo range washes and dries its mops, and the Saros models add higher suction, 3D navigation and chassis that lift over thresholds.

Beyond robots

The F25 wet dry vacuums are Roborock's second big line. The F25 Ultra combines VaporFlow and WaveFlow, which the Malaysian site describes as "150°C consistent steam and continuous 86°C running hot water", with JawScrapers anti-tangle rollers, a FlatReach 2.0 head that lies flat at 180° with a 12.5 cm profile, 90°C self-washing and 22,000 Pa suction. It was RM 1,999.00 against RM 3,299.00. The H60 Hub and H60 series are cordless stick vacuums. Separately, the Singapore store lists a five-in-one bundle combining 20,000 Pa wet and dry suction with a 25,000 Pa stick vacuum.

App, parts and support

The Roborock app shows live cleaning routes, maps, schedules and no-go zones, although the US site notes it "is not available on the E series." Roborock Malaysia says the products now support Matter after a firmware update. Consumables are sold by model: the Malaysian store lists disposable dust bags from RM 99.00 to RM 139.00, DuoRoller brushes at RM 129.00 and Edgewise mop cloths at RM 88.00, and the US store sells dust bag, mop cloth and filter packs.

Warranty differs by region. The US store advertises a "1-year Limited Warranty" for new devices, a free 30-day return policy and an extended warranty service, and lists a Repair Policy and Spare Parts Support page. The Australian store promises "Australian Warranty on All Products" with an extended warranty add-on, and Roborock India advertises a 1 year warranty. Support e-mail addresses are published for dozens of countries across North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Oceania, and US customer care is listed as 24/7. Singapore has two brand stores and a local service center. In the US, the store's Where to Buy list names Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, Target, Walmart and Wayfair among the retailers alongside Roborock's own store.

Who Roborock suits

Roborock suits a buyer who wants to choose exactly how much dock automation to pay for, from a Q series LiDAR robot with auto-empty to a Saros with a hot-water RockDock. Homes with thresholds and rugs will look at the AdaptiLift models, and low furniture points to the 7.98 cm Qrevo Curv 2 Pro. Pet owners get anti-tangle brush systems across the range.

The breadth of models and regional names takes some sorting, and prices, warranty length and bundles vary by country, so the local store is where to confirm them.
