What UWANT is

UWANT is a floor-care brand best known for wet-dry floor washers, UV dust-mite vacuums, spot cleaners and self-emptying stick vacuums, with a small robot vacuum line alongside them. Its tagline is "The Clean UWANT is in the Details." The About page on the US store says "in 2021, UWANT was born", and it gives the scale of the business in its own figures: 1366 total employees, 723 of them in R&D, an R&D ratio above 50%, "300+" patents granted and a GMV that has "Surpassed $280 M". The same page says UWANT "has showcased at major domestic and international exhibitions and is currently expanding into offline stores, malls, and home furnishing stores worldwide."

The brand sells through regional stores: uwant.global, uwanthome.com for the US, uwant.eu for Europe (with a long country list from Germany and France to Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK), and uwant.sg for Singapore. The About page lists availability across North America, Europe, Asia (including Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia) and South America. Not every store carries every robot, so the regional store decides what you can buy.

The robot range

UWANT's global robot collection centers on two machines, the T300 and the newer U300, and the European store also lists an entry model, the U100 Lite Smart Robot Vacuum & Mop Cleaner. The global menu names a U400 too.

The U300 is the most fully documented robot, and its Singapore product page shows what makes UWANT's approach different. The U300 mops with a roller: "Roller Brush Mopping", "20N Downforce Pressure", a "300r/min Roller Spin" and "Hot Water Mopping (60°C)". The page says the robot "sprays hot water directly onto the roller mop", squeezes and scrapes the roller as it turns, and collects dirty water "immediately" into "a separate wastewater tank". Back at the base, the roller gets a "60°C Hot Water Wash", a "Dual-Direction Roller Scrub" and a "60°C Hot Air Dry" to prevent "wet mop" odors. Suction is listed at "13,000 Pa", with "45° Dual Anti-Tangle Side Brushes" and a deodorizing stick in the base. Navigation uses "AI powered LDS radar and ToF sensors to map accurately and avoid obstacles in real time." UWANT's FAQ explains the case for the roller: it "covers more area in a single pass", and because the roller cleans itself as it works, it reduces "the frequency of returning station" during a mopping run. In the box come the robot and base station, a roller mop, a filter, a dust bag, a side brush, cleaning solution, a deodorizing stick and a cleaning brush.

The T300 is sold in two versions, a "T300 Auto Refilling & Draining Version" and a "T300 Water Tank Version", so buyers choose between plumbing the dock in and filling it by hand. The European store listed the T300 at CHF 771.00.

UWANT's comparison table on the global store sets out what its robots share and where they differ. Both carry 3D mapping, a "Conical Tangle-Free" main brush and "2cm" obstacle clearance. The table lists suction figures of 25000Pa and 10000Pa, batteries of 5200mAh and 5000mAh, hot-water mopping at 80°C and 60°C, and dustbins of 300ml and 250ml across the two columns, alongside features such as voice assistant support, auto mop lifting, edge cleaning, a robotic arm extension, auto-empty, auto mop washing and drying, automatic cleaning solution dispensing, and the optional auto refilling and draining system.

The app side is covered in the U300 FAQ: it works "through compatible apps" to "start, stop, or schedule cleaning sessions", and through the companion app owners can "set customized cleaning schedules, select specific rooms or zones to clean, and monitor cleaning progress in real-time."

The wider range

Robots are a small slice of what UWANT makes. The European store is built around wet-dry washers (D600, D700, D700 Pro, D800) and carpet and spot cleaners (B100, B200, B300 Pro, Y200). The D700 Pro, for example, lists "23,000 Pa Suction" and "100°C Self-Cleaning", and the US store's newest arrival, the D800, "25,000Pa Powerful Suction". The M-series UV dust-mite vacuums and the V500, V600 and V800 self-emptying stick vacuums complete the lineup. The About page claims "No.1" positions for UWANT's cordless vacuum with auto dust collection, its smart mattress vacuum and its push-type floor washer, and it lists "Hydro Rolling Mopping Tech" among the technologies it calls a "World's First".

Prices, warranty and support by region

Warranty terms differ by store, and each store states its own:

  • Singapore: the U300 was listed at $599.00 SGD against $1,499.00 SGD (marked "SAVE 60%"). The warranty is "two years", with "No need registration" since it activates automatically once the order ships, and the homepage adds "Free repairs with genuine parts at no extra cost." Shipping typically takes "1 to 3 business days". The Singapore store is run by DM Dasher Pte Ltd, and customer care is by WhatsApp.
  • Europe: "30 Days Return Without Reason", "2 Years Warranty", Klarna installments, "DHL Fast Delivery In EU" in 2-7 days, and telephone service "in English and German". Support is at support@uwant.eu, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, and an extended warranty is offered. First orders get "Extra 10%".
  • United States: "1-Year Warranty | 30-Day Returns | Free Shipping", with email support at service@uwanthome.com.

Across the stores UWANT runs a Support Center with a quick guide, manual downloads, useful videos and a contact page, and the global store's "U Care" page is described as "One-stop service for all things UWANT." Accessories for the robots are sold in their own section, and the European store sells cleaning solution in half-year and one-year packages.

Who it suits

UWANT suits a buyer with mostly hard floors who cares about mopping above all. The U300's hot-water roller, constant scraping and separate dirty-water tank are aimed squarely at kitchens and hallways where sticky messes build up, and the 60°C wash and hot-air dry at the dock keep the roller from smelling. Buyers in Singapore and Europe get a two-year warranty; buyers who already own a UWANT floor washer or mite vacuum will find the same design ideas in the robots.

Buyers in the US should check what the local store carries, since the robots are sold mainly through the global, European and Singapore stores. For a hard-floor household that wants a robot built around mopping, UWANT is a distinctive and well-supported choice.
