Airbot is a Singapore home appliance brand that tells its own story plainly: "Founded in 2012 in Singapore, Airbot Technology Pte. Ltd. is a brand built by engineers". Its About page traces the founding team to "Singapore's NTU UAV Laboratories and NUS SINAPSE Research Institutes", and gives the mission as developing "affordable robotics technology that frees people from domestic chores". Headquarters are in Singapore, product research and development sits in Shenzhen, and regional business offices are in Dubai and Hong Kong. Robot vacuums lead the menu on both of its official stores, Singapore and Malaysia, alongside cordless sticks, wet and dry floor washers, a UV mite vacuum, a pet grooming vacuum, hair tools, power banks and Google TVs. What Airbot is known for in its home region is value: affordable smart cleaning with shops and service centers you can walk into.

How Airbot grew

The About page lays out a short timeline. From 2017 to 2020 Airbot expanded across Southeast Asia, into Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia, and describes itself as having become "one of the Top 5 most popular home appliance brands in the region". From 2020 to 2024 it entered the UAE (Dubai), Turkey, the United Kingdom and Australia, and opened experience stores in Singapore, Dubai and Turkey. The page sets out three working principles, supply chain efficiency, product development optimization and manufacturing cost reduction, names four values, innovation, integrity, efficiency and collaboration, and closes on the line "Smarter Living, Engineered in Singapore." For a buyer, that combination explains the pitch: engineering-led products, a Shenzhen R&D center, and pricing built on cost control.

The robot vacuum range

Both official stores list the same five current robots in their Robotic Vacuum menu: the S9 Ultra, the L50 Master, the X40 Ultra, the X40 Master and the X50. The Singapore store's meta description singles out the "AI Robot X40" family, and its homepage banner for the robots reads "AI Robotic Vacuum. Mijia APP.", so at least part of the range is set up and controlled through the Mijia app. The Malaysian store's homepage runs the banner lines "Vacuum. Mop. Self-Washing." and "AirGPT AI Learns and Adapts to Your Home.", which describe a robot that vacuums, mops and washes its own mop, with an AI layer Airbot calls AirGPT. The robot collection itself is introduced as robotic vacuum cleaners with "an ultra slim design".

The X40 comes in Ultra and Master versions, and the S9 Ultra, L50 Master and X50 sit beside it. The Malaysian store sells a shared parts kit for the "Airbot X40 Ultra / Master", which tells an owner that the two X40 versions share their wear parts.

Airbot also lists a Window Cleaner collection on its Malaysian store, so the brand's automation covers glass as well as floors. The rest of its floor care fills the gaps a robot leaves. The Singapore store sells the iClean OMNI X and iClean H15 wet and dry floor washers for sticky kitchen spills, the CM900 UV dust mite vacuum for mattresses, the P2 Pet Grooming Vacuum, and a line of cordless sticks from the Swift and Supersonics 4.0 up to the Hypersonics Pro Detect, which Airbot sells with auto speed, dust sensing and laser detect. The Malaysian store adds Spot Cleaning Vacuum and Bed Mite Cleaner collections.

Parts for current and older robots

Airbot's Malaysian store keeps an Accessories and Parts collection of 27 products, and a good share of it is for robots, including older models that have left the menu. The Airbot X40 Ultra / Master parts start from RM35.90 MYR. Parts for the Robot Vacuum A500 / A510 start from RM39.90 MYR, and parts for the Airbot L108S Pro Ultra start from RM40.00 MYR. There are also parts pages for the Robot Vacuum A700 / A800 and the Airbot iRoom 1.0 / 2.0. The highest price in the collection is RM259.90 MYR. For a buyer, that list is the clearest evidence of how Airbot treats its robots: models from several generations still have parts on sale, and the store sells a "Warranty Service Fee" item for handling repairs. The Singapore store has an Accessories Spare Parts section in its menu as well.

Warranty, service and where to buy

The Singapore store's page description promises a "1-Year Limited Warranty" and "1-year warranty + free SG delivery". It links a Warranty Service Policy, a General Service T&C, an Installation Service Policy and a Return & Refund Policy. The Malaysian store lists "Extended Warranty", "Dedicated Live Agent", "Product Guidance", "Genuine Product" and "Lowest Price Guaranteed" among its promises.

The physical footprint in Singapore is what sets Airbot apart from brands sold only online. The store lists four service points: a North service center, Airbot Tampines in the East, Airbot JEM in the West, and the corporate office in Central. It also lists where to buy: a flagship store at JEM #04-28, outlets at Tampines Mall #03-19, a Mega Store and a Bugis outlet, plus iShop Changi, KrisShop, NTUC FairPrice and online marketplaces. The Singapore store is run by Airbot Technology Pte Ltd and can be read in English, Chinese, Indonesian, Malay, Japanese and Korean.

Where Airbot fits

Airbot's store homepages sell the robots by model name and banner line, without suction or battery tables. The upside is everything around the robot: shops, service centers, a published warranty and a deep parts catalog. The robots also share the store with Airbot's cordless range, including the Hypersonics Max Detect with a water tank and dual spinning mop from $179.90 SGD and the Swift Station with auto empty and recharging, so a household can buy a robot and a stick from one brand.

Who it suits

Airbot suits a buyer in Singapore or Malaysia who wants a mopping robot with a self-washing station from a local brand, and who values being able to walk into a JEM or Tampines store for help. Owners who keep a robot for years will like the parts catalog, which still covers older A-series, iRoom and L108S models. Households already using the Mijia app will find the setup familiar.

It suits buyers less well if they live outside Airbot's markets or want detailed spec sheets on the store homepage before choosing between the X40, L50, S9 Ultra and X50.
