Who Concept is

Concept is a Czech home appliance brand. Its site signs off as "Česká značka se sídlem v Chocni" (a Czech brand based in Choceň) and runs under the tagline "chytře vymyšleno pro život" (cleverly thought out for life). Robot vacuums are one category among many: the Czech homepage sells built-in ovens, stick vacuums, auger juicers, temperature-controlled kettles, air fryers, headphones and speakers, and hair and beard trimmers, with robot vacuums "od 2 999 Kč" (from 2 999 Kč). The Czech site switches between Czech, Slovak and English and shows prices in either CZK or EUR.

In Poland the brand sells through conceptpolska.pl, run by CONCEPT POLSKA Sp. z o.o. in Wrocław. That company describes itself as Concept's "oficjalny dystrybutor w Polsce" (official distributor in Poland), handling the full range, spare parts and after-sales service. It also calls Concept one of the fastest-growing appliance brands in Central Europe. Most of the robot detail below comes from its robot category page, which is also the clearest map of the range.

The robot range

The Polish store listed nine Concept robots on one page, and they sort into three bands. Prices are the store's and change with promotions.

Entry level. The RoboCross Gyro Defender UVC VR2020 costs 998,00 zł and is sold as a 3-in-1 robot that vacuums, mops and sterilizes. The store's range overview gives the VR2020 2-in-1 vacuuming and mopping, UVC LED, a HEPA filter and app control. It navigates by gyroscope. At the same price the RoboCross Laser VR3300 swaps the gyro for a laser, though it was marked out of stock with a notify-me button.

Laser mid-range. Here the robots all map with a laser. The RoboCross VR3115 at 1 979,00 zł and the PERFECT CLEAN Laser VR3125 at 2 099,00 zł are 2-in-1 vacuum-and-mop machines. The REAL FORCE Laser 3D VR3400 at 2 148,00 zł and the PERFECT CLEAN Laser 3D VR3450 at 2 499,00 zł add the "3D" laser to the name. The REAL FORCE Laser Complete Clean Care UVC VR3520n, at 2 599,00 zł, is the mid-range model that brings back the UVC lamp and is billed as 3-in-1. The range overview groups the VR3450 and VR3520 together for their "laser Tec 2.0" navigation, Y-wash mopping and solid power and capacity.

Top of the range. The OPTIMUS Aqua Pro Laser 3D VR4050 costs 3,299.00 zł and the Aqua ULTIMATE Laser 3D VR4130 3,499.00 zł. The VR4130 is the flagship. A Polish blog post describes it as a robot that vacuums, mops and cleans itself in a cleaning station, with 15,000 Pa of suction. The same blog puts the top of the range at up to 15,000 Pa and mentions models with a station, a mop and UVC.

The overview also names a visiOne 3D VR3550 with three-dimensional mapping, a HomeBase that empties the robot automatically, up to 180 minutes of runtime, quiet running and HEPA 13 filtration. It is not among the nine robots in the store listing, so treat it as part of the family rather than a model you can order there.

So the steps buy, in order: a laser in place of the gyro, then the 3D laser and Y-wash mopping, then a station that takes over emptying and mop cleaning. UVC sterilization is a feature of particular models at both ends rather than a tier of its own.

The technology Concept names

The Polish page gives six reasons to pick a Concept robot, and they describe the whole family:

  • "Precyzyjna nawigacja LaserTec 2.0" (precise LaserTec 2.0 navigation), which scans the room, skips areas already cleaned and plans its route quickly.
  • 3-in-1 mopping with Y-wash, a Y-shaped path that passes over the same patch of floor several times.
  • UVC LED sterilization, which the store says disinfects without chemicals and presents as suited to allergy sufferers. That is the brand's claim, not a tested one.
  • A BLDC motor that the store calls quieter, longer-lasting and more energy-efficient.
  • App control for scheduling and cleaning modes, with voice control through Alexa and Google Home.
  • Large wheels and a low body that climb thresholds and unevenness of up to 1,8 cm.

Concept also makes the cordless sticks that often share a home with a robot. The ICONIC Comfort Telescope VP6125 stick vacuum, for instance, is listed at 5,999 Kč with 30 kPa of suction, a BLDC motor, three working modes and a telescopic tube. It is one of several stick models starting at 1,499 Kč on the Czech homepage.

Parts, service and support

Concept sells its own consumables. The Polish robot page lists a two-piece HEPA filter set (VRP0020) at 79,00 zł and a four-piece side brush set (VRP0010) at 79,00 zł. Each part lists the models it fits, from the VR2020 through the VR3115, VR3125 and VR3520n, and the store has separate sections for robot accessories, filters, batteries and chargers.

Service is where the Czech site puts its emphasis. The homepage promises "Servis obvykle do 7 dnů" (service usually within 7 days) and "Staráme se o vás i po nákupu" (we look after you after the purchase too). Its footer links to a premium service for vacuums, an installation service for robot vacuums, a smart warranty scheme alongside the statutory warranty, and a warranty registration page. The Czech customer line is +420 465 471 400, open Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:00. The homepage adds that "98% zákazníků doporučuje náš obchod" (98% of customers recommend our shop), citing reviews on Heureka.cz.

On the Polish store, delivery is free from 99 zł, returns are accepted within 14 days without giving a reason, and the footer links to returns and complaints and to an extended warranty. Neither store's front pages state the warranty length, so check it on the warranty page before buying.

Caveats

The robot information is split between two countries. The Czech site carries the brand and the service promises. The Polish distributor's page carries the model list and the technology. The naming is also busy (RoboCross, REAL FORCE, PERFECT CLEAN, OPTIMUS, Aqua ULTIMATE), and near-identical model numbers such as VR3520 and VR3520n make the family hard to read at a glance.

Who it suits

Concept fits Czech, Slovak and Polish households that want a laser-mapped robot that also mops, from a brand with local service, a local phone line and spare filters and brushes on the shelf. Buyers who like a single brand across the home, from the oven to the kettle, get that here too. Those outside Central Europe, or anyone who wants a long published spec sheet for every model, should look at the brand only if they can buy and get service through these two stores.
