Who Eureka Forbes is
Eureka Forbes is an Indian home appliance company, registered as Eureka Forbes Limited with its registered and corporate office in Lower Parel, Mumbai. Its homepage is led by Aquaguard water purifiers, and it also sells air purifiers, water softeners and a full line of vacuum cleaners. Its service page calls it a "Trusted brand for over 40 years". Robot vacuums sit in the vacuum section under the Smartclean name, and the robot page opens with "NextGen AI with Lidar 3.0 and 360° real-time mapping", followed by the promise of "smart, hands-free cleaning made easy for Indian homes."
The brand sells its robots directly from eurekaforbes.com in Indian rupees. What stands out is the support around the machine rather than the machine itself: a national service network, annual maintenance plans, live video demos in seven Indian languages and no-cost EMI on most models.
The Smartclean range
The robot page shows eight Smartclean models at a time out of 18 results. Prices below are the discounted prices the page showed beside the MRP, and they move with sales.
Entry, mapping and mopping. The Smartclean Home Mapping Turbo is the starting point at ₹20,499 (MRP ₹26,000). The page lists a "3 hr Run Time", wet and dry mopping, "7000Pa Turbo Suction", auto charging and quick mapping. The homepage has advertised the same robot "Starting at ₹17,099*" with bank and exchange offers, so the price you pay depends on the week.
Adding a self-emptying bin. The Smartclean Auto Bin Turbo keeps the 3-hour runtime and 7000Pa and swaps mopping for auto dust disposal, at ₹27,499 (MRP ₹32,500). The older Smartclean Auto Bin, at ₹34,999 (MRP ₹46,800), lists 5000Pa "Hypersuction" and "65 days Handsfree Cleaning".
The S2 generation. The S2 models raise suction to 9000Pa. The Smartclean with Home Mapping Nuo S2 lists a 5-hour runtime, wet and dry mopping and 9000Pa Hypersuction at ₹29,999 (MRP ₹33,999). The Smartclean with Home Mapping Pro S2 costs the same ₹29,999 (MRP ₹34,499) with 9000Pa and quick mapping. The Smartclean Auto Bin S2, marked "New Launch", adds auto dust disposal to the 5-hour, 9000Pa platform for ₹39,499 (MRP ₹48,999). A Smartclean with Home Mapping Dyno also sits at ₹29,999, listed only as "High Suction".
The flagship station. The Smartclean with Fully Automatic Cleaning Station is the top of the range at ₹76,499 (MRP ₹91,000). It lists a 5200 mAH battery, auto dust disposal, 7000Pa Hyper Suction and "Hot Water Mop Wash at 50°C". This is the only model in the lineup whose dock looks after the mop pads as well as the dust.
Read across the range, the steps buy three things: a longer runtime and more suction (3 hours and 7000Pa up to 5 hours and 9000Pa), a dock that empties the robot, and finally a station that also washes the mops in hot water.
Navigation and features
The vacuum section describes the Home Mapping Turbo's navigation as "LiDar 2.0 Navigation", which "Precisely maps your home 360°", while the robot page headline talks about Lidar 3.0, so the version depends on the model. The same section names "ODAC Technology" that "Detects objects as small as 90mm, avoiding collision" and a "Customised CleanAssist" feature for setting a cleaning schedule in the Smart App.
The robot page's buying guide lists the features Eureka Forbes wants you to weigh. It names 3D laser scanning and real-time mapping, obstacle and anti-fall sensors for furniture and stairs, and voice command and app control. It also lists auto, spot, edge, turbo and silent cleaning modes and self-charging, with the robot returning to its dock when the battery runs low. That guide also mentions "up to 90 minutes of runtime per charge", which does not match the 3-hour and 5-hour figures on the model tiles, so trust each model's own listing over the general text.
Where the robots sit in the vacuum lineup
Eureka Forbes sells the robots next to a long list of conventional machines, which matters if a robot is only half of what you need. The vacuum section carries canister models such as the CycloVac and Quick Clean DX, the Wet & Dry Armor and Endura drum vacuums with stainless steel tanks and a blower, the Atom and Sure handhelds for the car, and the Kordfree and Zerobend cordless sticks. The Forbes Zerobend, which the brand says "Bends 180 degree to deep clean hard to reach areas" and has an "Auto Hair Detangler", has been advertised from ₹24,499 on the homepage. A pet grooming kit and a separate accessories section round out the range. For a home with stairs or a lot of rugs, pairing a Smartclean with one of these sticks keeps both jobs with one brand and one service network.
Buying, financing and service
Most robots on the page carry no-cost EMI. Monthly figures run from ₹3,417 for the Home Mapping Turbo to ₹12,750 for the cleaning station, with ₹4,584, ₹5,000, ₹5,834 and ₹6,584 plans on the models between. Sales stack a 10% instant bank discount with an exchange offer and coupons, and the homepage's "Big Exchange" promises up to ₹2000 off for trading in an old appliance.
Before buying you can book a free live demo from an expert over video. Eureka Forbes says these are "Available in 7 Languages": English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The vacuum section also links to a 4-Hour Delivery & Installation option and to vacuum accessories.
After-sales support is the brand's strongest suit. The service page lists "8500+ certified service technicians", "Service centres in 800+ cities" and "AMC applicable all over India", and the Eureka Forbes app lets owners book a service, manage service requests and track their AMC plans and devices. The AMC plans shown on that page are written around Aquaguard purifiers, so ask for the vacuum terms when you book. The robot page gives two phone lines, 7039883333 and 1860 266 1177.
Caveats
The robot listings are short on detail beyond the five features shown on each tile. They give no dustbin or water tank volumes and no noise figures, and the navigation version varies between pages. The lineup also carries several near-identical names (Home Mapping, Home Mapping Turbo, Nuo S2, Pro S2, Dyno), so compare the tiles carefully before choosing.
Who it suits
Eureka Forbes suits Indian households that want a mapping robot that also mops, bought from a brand with technicians in hundreds of cities, EMI at checkout and a demo in their own language. The Home Mapping Turbo is a sensible first robot for an apartment with tiled floors. Hot-water mop washing comes only with the flagship station, and anyone outside India will not find these robots on the brand's own store.
