Tjilla calls itself "The Dutch brand in Robot Vacuum Cleaners" and "The specialist in robot vacuum cleaners since 2019". Its About text describes "a Dutch technology company founded in 2019" that "specializes in robot vacuum cleaners and animal products", and its Dutch home page says the robots are "dagelijks door meer dan 25.000 huishoudens gebruikt" (used daily by more than 25,000 households). The brand describes the team behind it as "young and dynamic" and says that "As a Dutch brand in robot vacuums, we embrace the challenge of competing against major American players in the market." Tjilla sells from its own bilingual store (Nederlands and English) and, in its own words, "at leading physical and online retailers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Austria."

The range

Tjilla keeps its robot line short: three models, all sold as robot vacuum cleaners with a mopping function. The home page puts the brand's principle plainly: "All Tjilla robot vacuum cleaners are multifunctional and can both vacuum and mop for optimal cleaning. So you never have to look at the floor yourself!"

Tjilla C100. The entry model, a "Robot vacuum cleaner with mopping function", was listed at a sale price of CHF 143.72 against a regular CHF 191.95, a saving the store put at CHF 48.23. The store's spring promotion named the C100 and C150 as its "best-selling models".

Tjilla C150. The step up, also a robot vacuum cleaner with mopping function, was on sale at CHF 230.53 against CHF 269.11 (save CHF 38.58).

Tjilla C150+. The top model is the C150 with an emptying station: "robot vacuum cleaner with mop function and emptying station". It was listed at CHF 365.56 against a regular CHF 481.31 (save CHF 115.75). The station is the difference that matters day to day. The robot empties its dust into the base, so the owner handles the bin far less often, which is exactly what homes with pets want.

The ladder is therefore simple: two vacuum and mop robots at different prices, and one with a self-emptying base. Buyers pick by budget and by how much bin emptying they are willing to do. The store showed its prices in Swiss francs (CHF), and the promotions shift, so the figures above are what the store showed rather than fixed list prices.

Beyond robots

Next to the robots, Tjilla sells the T150 Carpet Cleaner with Steam Cleaner at CHF 182.30, which covers the deep cleaning of rugs and upholstery that a robot does not do. The service text also mentions its stick vacuum cleaners, and the About text says the company works in "animal products" as well as robots. The store has a Parts section for spares, which matters for a robot that uses mop pads, brushes and filters, and the Dutch and English versions of the store carry the same range and the same service promises.

Why Tjilla says to buy a robot

The home page makes 3 arguments for a robot vacuum. First, it "Takes over everything", vacuuming and mopping in one run. Second, for "Compact furniture", robots "vacuum under low furniture such as chairs, sofas or under beds that are difficult to reach with a normal vacuum cleaner." Third, for pet owners: "vacuuming up hair can often be time-consuming. With robot vacuum cleaners, this tedious task is no longer necessary."

The brand also explains navigation on its blog. Its article on LiDAR says that "Lidar is an abbreviation for 'Light Detection and Ranging'" and that the sensor "is usually mounted on top of the robot vacuum cleaner and rotates continuously to make a 360-degree scan of the environment." The article lists three benefits: more accurate positioning and mapping for "more efficient and effective cleaning", detection and avoidance of obstacles, and cleaning "without any human being present". Related posts explain V-Slam navigation and how long a robot vacuum lasts.

Trial, returns and warranty

Tjilla's strongest selling point is its after-sales terms. The header of every page promises "Order today, receive tomorrow" and a "4-year warranty". The FAQ explains the trial: "Within 30 days of purchase, you can easily return or exchange your item, regardless of the reason", and the return policy gives 30 days from delivery to send a product back "without stating a reason". The About text adds "Not good? Money back!" and that customers get "a minimum of two years warranty on all our products as standard, unless stated otherwise", so the 4-year promise in the header is the brand's headline offer on top of that standard floor. On repairs, the brand says: "If there's anything wrong with your Tjilla product, we're ready to repair or replace it for you. No fine print."

Delivery is fast. The FAQ says all orders placed before 5 PM (Mon-Fri) are processed and shipped within 1 business day, "for next-day delivery in the Netherlands and Belgium", with 1-3 business days to Germany and Austria.

Support and where to buy

Tjilla stresses real people. Customers can use the contact form, where replies usually come "within an hour", or call or WhatsApp +31 850022287, Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 20:00, and email info@tjilla.nl. The brand says it is "available 12 hours a day". The footer links manuals, the warranty and returns policies and a videos page. Its "Proud partner" list names Mediamarkt, Kaufland, Amazon, Beslist, Bol and BCC, so buyers who prefer a big retailer can find Tjilla there. For businesses, the FAQ says "Hundreds of companies have already joined us" and points to a business page to book an appointment.

The store lists names, prices and the station on the C150+ without suction, battery or bin figures on the home page; those sit in the product pages and manuals.

Who it suits

Tjilla suits buyers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria who want an affordable robot that vacuums and mops, backed by a local brand with a 30-day trial, next-day delivery and a support line open six days a week. A flat with hard floors and low furniture is well served by the C100 or C150. Pet owners and anyone who dislikes emptying bins should take the C150+ with its emptying station, and homes with rugs can add the T150 carpet cleaner. Buyers who want a large range or top-end docks that wash and dry mops will need to look further.
